As you may already know, the pi pizza oven has the ability to function as a gas or wood burning oven. Here at our house, we started out with wood. After some use, we decided to switch to gas for convenience and haven’t looked back.
We found gas to be much more predictable and manageable when it comes to temperature control. It also makes it a snap to prepare pizzas for dinner on short notice. Wood requires properly prepared wood and will need some babysitting in order to get the heat up to temperature and to keep it in the cooking range.
